Financing is available. Learn moreMicroneedling uses very fine needles to make tiny channels in the skin. The skin responds by repairing itself, which supports collagen and can smooth texture over time. Afterwards we apply a PDRN serum, a polynucleotide product derived from salmon DNA.
Clients usually come for rough texture, uneven tone, fine lines or the look of old acne marks.
How a visit goes
- 1
Consultation and skin check
We look at your skin, ask about allergies, medications and recent treatments, and decide whether this suits you.
- 2
Cleanse and numb
The skin is cleansed and a numbing cream is applied. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to work.
- 3
Microneedling
A pen with fine needles is moved across the skin in passes. You will feel pressure and a light scratching sensation.
- 4
PDRN serum
The salmon DNA serum is applied to the treated skin.
- 5
Soothe and protect
We finish with a calming layer and SPF, and go over aftercare.

What is in the serum
PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide. In skincare it is commonly extracted from salmon, which is where the name salmon DNA comes from. It is processed and purified before use.
It is used for hydration and to support skin repair. It is newer than microneedling itself, so we describe it as a supportive step, not a guarantee. If you have a fish or seafood allergy, tell us before you book.
How many sessions
One treatment can freshen the skin, but microneedling works best as a series. Many people do three to six sessions about four to six weeks apart, then a maintenance session once or twice a year.
The right plan depends on what you are treating. Texture and fine lines usually need fewer visits than scarring. We will suggest a plan after your first visit rather than selling a package up front.
Who it is for
Skin that looks rough, dull or uneven; fine lines; enlarged pores; and shallow acne marks. Deep scars may need other treatments, and we will say so.
Aftercare
- Gentle cleanser and moisturizer only for the first day or two
- Daily SPF, and avoid sun exposure
- No makeup for 24 hours, and no strong actives for several days
Questions
What is PDRN?
It is a purified polynucleotide extract, often sourced from salmon DNA, used in skincare for hydration and skin repair. Research on it is still developing, so we treat it as a supportive add-on rather than a promise.
How many sessions do I need?
Most people see more change from a series of treatments spaced about four to six weeks apart than from a single visit.
Will I be red or flaky?
Expect pinkness and some tightness for a day or two, occasionally light flaking.
Is it painful?
We numb the skin first, so most people feel pressure rather than pain.
Can I do microneedling in summer?
Yes, but you need to be strict about sun protection afterwards, which matters in the desert. Tell us if you have been outdoors a lot or have a tan.
Can I combine it with HIFU?
Yes, they target different layers. We will space them sensibly.
When can I wear makeup?
Usually after 24 hours, and mineral makeup is a good choice. We will confirm for your skin.
Results vary from person to person. Ask us anything before you book, and we’ll tell you honestly whether it suits you.
