These three get compared a lot, and they are not really competing. They suit different amounts of laxity and different tolerance for downtime.
HIFU
Focused ultrasound reaches a deep layer under the skin and prompts collagen. There is no downtime, and it suits early to moderate looseness along the jawline and lower face. Results build slowly.
Radiofrequency
Radiofrequency heats tissue closer to the surface and is often used for general tightening and texture. It can suit people who want a gentler, more surface-level effect.
Surgical facelift
Surgery removes and repositions tissue, so it is the right choice for significant sagging. It also means anaesthesia, recovery time and a surgeon. We do not offer it and will tell you if we think you would be better served there.
How to decide
Ask yourself how much change you want and how much time you can take off. If you want a subtle firming with no downtime, HIFU is worth a consultation. If you are looking for a dramatic change, surgery is the more realistic route.
This is general information, not medical advice. Results vary.
